Senator Rankin’s Work with PURC

July 22, 2009 by admin

Energy costs over the last few years have skyrocketed. In order to tackle this problem, government has to step in to find low cost and creative solutions. One of the ways Senator Rankin does this, is by serving as a member of the Public Review Utilities Committee (PURC).  He has actively been involved with the PURC’s effort to gather information concerning these energy issues in South Carolina. Open Letter from Senator Luke Rankin to DHEC Chairman Bo Aughtry

February 13, 2009 by admin

Friends - I thought you would want to see this open letter I recently wrote
to DHEC Chairman Bo Aughtry urging him to open the Pee Dee power facility.

Thank you,

Luke

This is bad public policy. Read more

Sen. Rankin thrashes Democratic challenger

November 5, 2008 by admin

“I’m certainly happy to have gotten the victory and the margin as well,” Rankin said. “It’s affirming to be given a good grade. That’s what I liken this to.” Read more
